The Vivo X500 series is expected to bring a new generation of photography-focused flagship smartphones later this year. The lineup is set to debut in China first, followed by global launches in different markets. In the meantime, one of the upcoming global models has appeared on a certification platform, revealing an important charging detail.
Vivo X500 Pro Max gets TÜV certified
As seen above, an upcoming Vivo smartphone with the model number V2610 has received TÜV certification. The same model has also secured Indonesian TKDN approval and was previously spotted in the GSMA IMEI database carrying the Vivo X500 Pro Max moniker.
The TÜV listing reveals that the Vivo X500 Pro Max supports a maximum charging input of 90.2W. This suggests that the phone could be marketed with 90W fast charging. It is also expected to support 40W wireless charging, similar to the previous-generation model.
Vivo X500 Pro Max specifications
According to reports, the Vivo X500 Pro Max could feature a 6.85-inch display and will be powered by the upcoming 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro series chipset. For photography, it will feature triple-camera system led by a 200-megapixel primary camera. The exact battery capacity of the Pro Max has not been confirmed, although it is expected to be around 7,000mAh. The phone is also expected to run Android 17 with OriginOS 7 on top.

The Vivo X500 Pro Max would mark the first time the company has introduced a Pro Max model in this series. Until the X500 Ultra arrives, which is expected in the first half of 2027, the Pro Max could sit at the top of Vivo’s flagship lineup. This makes its combination of high-end performance, a large battery, fast charging and a 200-megapixel camera setup particularly interesting.
The Vivo X500 series is expected to launch in China this month. However, the global launch could take place later, potentially in November or December this year.
