What We Know About the Oppo Reno 16 Series So Far

Recently, the global variant of the Oppo Reno 16, carrying model number CPH2865, was spotted on Geekbench. The benchmark listing suggested the phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 12GB RAM and Android 16. The device scored 1,240 points in the single-core test and 3,994 points in the multi-core test.

A recent leak also suggested that the global Reno 16 series may include the Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro, and Reno 16 FS. The vanilla Reno 16 is tipped to feature a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, a 50MP triple rear camera setup, and a 6,000mAh battery. The Reno 16 Pro is expected to arrive with a compact AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, and a large battery.

Xpert Take

Retailer listings often surface shortly before a product’s official announcement, and that appears to be the case with the Oppo Reno 16 series. The presence of pricing and multiple bundle variants suggests that Oppo’s global rollout plans may already be in motion.

What’s particularly interesting is that the listing follows the recent Geekbench appearance of the global Reno 16. Together, these developments indicate that Oppo could be preparing to launch the Reno 16 series in international markets sooner rather than later. However, the final specifications and regional availability remain unconfirmed at this stage.
