Shown above are new listings of the Vivo Y600i and Y60i AI Edition that have emerged on the Google Play Supported Devices list. It confirms that both models have the model number V2617A. The V2617A device was recently spotted on China’s MIIT certification database. However, there’s no telling what differentiates the regular Y600i from its AI Edition.

Unfortunately, none of these listings has revealed any information about the device’s specifications. As mentioned above, the device could be positioned lower than existing models, such as the Y600 Pro and Y600 Turbo.

For reference, the Vivo Y600 Pro has a 6.83-inch AMOLED 1.5K 120Hz screen, a Dimensity 7300e chip, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, a 10,200mAh battery with 90W charging, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel rear snapper. There should be a Vivo Y600 model too, which should be slotted between the Y600i and Y600 Pro, but there’s no news about its existence yet.

Xpert Take

The Vivo Y600i will be a successor to last year’s Y500i, which was powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. Hence, it is likely that a similar low-powered chip may fuel the Y600i. It is advisable to wait for further reports to know more about the Y600i.

Vivo has an attractive product portfolio, with the brand actively launching new X-series, V-series, and Y-series phones across the world. The Y-series has been receiving good reception, and the same is expected from the Y600i.
