Acer has officially announced the Predator Atlas 8 (PA08-I51), a Windows 11 gaming handheld powered by the latest Intel Arc G-Series processors.
The device features an 8-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) IPS touchscreen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of peak brightness, and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with DXC coating. Under the hood, buyers can configure the handheld with up to an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor and Intel Arc B390 graphics. The system supports up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen4 storage.
Cooling is handled by a dual-fan setup featuring a 0.1 mm metal Predator AeroBlade fan alongside a standard plastic fan, utilizing Vortex Flow tuning to manage thermals. To sustain longer gaming sessions, the device is equipped with up to an 80 Wh battery. Depending on the battery configuration, the handheld weighs under 810 g.
Connectivity options include dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, a UHS-II microSD card reader, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 7. The control scheme utilizes Hall-effect analog triggers with adjustable switches, allowing users to toggle between instant micro-switch feedback for shooters and full-range analog response for racing games.
The Predator Atlas 8 is expected to be available in North America, EMEA, and Australia starting in October 2026. However, its India launch date is still unconfirmed. Pricing details for the device also remain unannounced at this time.
