BenQ has announced the launch of the MA270S, a new 5K monitor designed for Mac users, expanding its MA Series lineup in India. The display is now available via retail stores and online platforms, priced at ₹94,998.
The MA270S features a 27-inch 5K panel with a resolution of 5120 × 2880 and a pixel density of 218 ppi, targeting creators who require high-resolution workflows such as video editing and design. It supports 99% DCI-P3 color coverage and a 2000:1 contrast ratio, aiming to reduce color inconsistencies between Mac devices and external displays.
BenQ has equipped the monitor with a 70 Hz refresh rate and its Display Pilot 2 software, which enables features such as automatic color profile syncing, brightness and volume control via Mac keyboards, and screen management tools.
Connectivity includes Thunderbolt 4 with up to 96 W power delivery, allowing users to connect and charge a MacBook using a single cable. The monitor also supports daisy chaining for dual 5K setups and includes additional HDMI and USB-C ports, along with Smart KVM functionality for switching between multiple devices.
The MA270S features a Nano Gloss panel and an adjustable stand with height, tilt, swivel, and pivot support. According to BenQ, the monitor is designed to integrate closely with macOS workflows rather than functioning as a standard external display.
