Both share several identical specifications, but the global model is better equipped, as it includes a periscope telephoto camera and wireless charging support. Speculation suggests that the global variant could launch in India with the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ branding.
Teasers for the Edge 70 Pro+ available on Flipkart have revealed only a few details so far. In a new development, the device has now appeared on Geekbench, revealing details about its chipset and RAM.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Geekbench listing reveals that the device is powered by the Dimensity 8500 chipset, which also powers the other Edge 70 Pro variants. As usual, the chipset name is not directly mentioned, but the CPU and GPU details available through metadata are enough to confirm it.
The listing further reveals that the device features 12GB of RAM and runs Android 16. In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the phone scored 1,722 and 5,623 points, respectively. Previous reports claimed that the Edge 70 Pro+ could also arrive with 16GB of RAM, but the Geekbench listing suggests there may be a lower RAM variant as well.
Official teasers have confirmed that the phone will be available in shades such as Pantone Zinfandel, Pantone Stormy Sea, and Pantone Chicory Coffee. Motorola has also confirmed that the device will feature a Sony LYT-710 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel 3.5x periscope telephoto camera. The remaining specifications are expected to stay identical to the Indian version of the Edge 70 Pro.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ appears to be an appealing device with its additional features, but it is also likely to carry a premium price tag. This is because the device is expected to be positioned between the Motorola Signature series and the Edge 70 Pro lineup.
In India, the Edge 70 Pro is priced at Rs 38,999. Therefore, the upcoming Plus variant could start at around Rs 49,999. As for the launch timeline, the device is expected to debut in India by early June.
