Infinix is gearing up to launch the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G in different markets soon. To recall, an Infinix device with the model number X6896 and the Hot 70 Pro 5G moniker was spotted on the company’s CarlCare support website back in February. In a new development, the device has now received approval from the FCC certification platform, revealing a few key details.

Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G FCC certified

First and foremost, the FCC listing reveals the rear design schematic of the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G, which showcases a vertical camera setup along with an LED flash. Its FCC label also confirms that the phone will be available in an 8GB+256GB storage variant.

Another FCC document included in the listing reveals that the Hot 70 Pro 5G packs a 5,600mAh battery and supports 45W charging. The remaining specifications of the device are still under wraps.

Reports surrounding the device suggest that the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G may also arrive in an 8GB+128GB base variant and could be powered by the Dimensity 7100 chipset. It is likely to run on Android 16 with XOS 16 layered on top.

Xpert Take

Infinix is known for launching value-for-money entry-level and budget smartphones. The Hot 70 Pro 5G also appears to be positioned as a similar offering, although there is no clarity yet on whether it will launch in India, as the device has not appeared in the BIS certification database.

With FCC certification now in place, the Hot 70 Pro 5G is expected to debut soon, possibly within the next few weeks. As for India, the brand recently launched the Note Edge and Note 60 Pro, and it may now be preparing to unveil the GT 50 series.
