Tecno is reportedly working on the Tecno Pova 8 5G smartphone. The device was recently spotted on the TUV certification platform with a massive battery. Now, the handset has appeared in the Google Play Console database, revealing details about its display, chipset, RAM, and operating system.

The Tecno Pova 8 5G’s Google Play Console listing reveals that it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. While the chipset’s name is not directly mentioned, the model number MT6858, along with the CPU and GPU details listed, strongly suggest that the device is equipped with the Dimensity 7100.
Moreover, the handset was recently spotted on Geekbench with the same chipset, 6GB of RAM, and Android 16. The Play Console listing confirms the same RAM and operating system details.
Coming to the display, the front image of the Pova 8 5G that appeared through the Play Console listing suggests that it features a flat display with rounded corners. The screen supports a 1080 x 2344 FHD+ resolution and a 420dpi pixel density.
The previously spotted TUV certification revealed that the device houses a massive 7,750mAh battery. However, there is currently no information available about its charging capabilities.
