iQOO Pad 5e moniker, key specifications revealed via Google Play Console, 3C listings

In March, XpertPick spotted two upcoming iQOO tablets with model numbers iPA2556 and iPA2575 at China’s 3C certification platform. Now, another tablet bearing the iPA2537 has been approved by the 3C authority.

Last year, iQOO sold the iQOO Pad 2 series of tablets in China. Therefore, the above-mentioned tablets were initially believed to be part of the iQOO Pad 3 series. However, the appearance of the iPA2537 tablet in the Google Play Console and Google Play Supported Devices reveals that it will be part of the iQOO Pad 5 series. Therefore, the iPA2556 and iPA2575, which were spotted with 44W and 66W chargers, respectively, could be dubbed iQOO Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro.

iQOO Pad 5e 3C certified, appears in Google Play Console

  • China’s 3C authority has approved a forthcoming iQOO tablet with model number iPA2357.
  • The certification reveals that it may ship with a 44W charger with model number V4440L0A0-CN.
  • The same device is also listed in the databases of the Google Play Console and Google Play Supported Devices list. These listings have confirmed that the tablet will be dubbed the iQOO Pad 5e when it hits the market.
  • While the Google Play Console has also unearthed the key specs of the iQOO Pad 5e, the Google Play Supported Devices list has revealed that it has another model number – iPA2453. This model number is also associated with the iQOO Pad 2 from last year.
  • Therefore, the iQOO Pad 5e could be a rebranded version of the Pad 2, which features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip.

iQOO Pad 5e specifications

  • As per the Google Play Console listing, the iQOO Pad 5e is powered by the SM8635 chip, which is nothing but the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
  • The iQOO Pad 5e’s display supports 1968 x 2800 pixels resolution, which is an exact match with the Pad 2’s screen resolution a 12.1-inch 144Hz LCD screen. Therefore, it could be equipped with.
  • The Play Console listing further reveals that the Pad 5e will feature 8GB of RAM and run on Android 14.
  • The rest of its specs are not known, but these could be identical to the Pad 2. To recall, the Pad features a 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging, up to 12GB+512GB configuration, six speakers, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera.

iQOO is yet to confirm the iQOO Pad 5 series’ existence. Likely, the new tablets may debut alongside the upcoming iQOO Neo 10 Pro+ this month in China.
