Infinix is gearing up to launch the Infinix Note 60 series of smartphones. Recently, the Note 60 and Note 60 Pro were spotted with Dimensity 7400 Ultimate and Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipsets, respectively. The lineup also includes the top-of-the-line Note 60 Ultra. Finally, this device has also emerged on Geekbench, revealing its Dimensity 8-series chip.
Infinix Note 60 Ultra Geekbench listing
The Infinix Note 60 Ultra has been spotted with its model number X6877 in Geekbench’s database. The listing reveals that it is powered by the Dimensity 8400 Ultimate, which includes a single core working at 3.25GHz, three cores operating at 3GHz, and four cores operating at 2.10GHz, along with Mali-G720 MC7 for graphics.
The device recorded 1609 points in Geekbench 6.5’s single-core test and 6762 points in the multi-core test. The listing further revealed that it has 12GB of RAM and runs Android 16.
Its listing on the company’s Carlcare service website previously revealed that it will be offered in two configurations, such as 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB.
The Infinix Note 60 Ultra’s rumoured specs sheet includes a 144Hz AMOLED display, a 200-megapixel main camera, Infinix XOS 16, and a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 30W wireless charging support. It is also expected to support two-way satellite communication. Furthermore, the brand’s collaboration with Italian designer Pininfarina suggests that the device will sport a premium design.
Xpert Take
The rumoured specs of the Infinix Note 60 Ultra suggest that it will be promising. Although the chipset is not the latest, as MediaTek has already released the Dimensity 8450 and Dimensity 8500, it is still quite potent, and using it could probably help keep the Note 60 Ultra on the affordable side.
Infinix did not release Zero series phones last year as part of streamlining its lineup. With the Note 60 series getting an Ultra variant for the first time, it appears that the Zero lineup, which was said to be positioned higher than the Note series, may get axed. All in all, the entire Note 60 series appears quite promising.
