Recently, a Vivo phone bearing the model number V2545 was approved by India’s BIS authority. This device is expected to hit the Indian market with the Vivo T5x branding. Like last year’s T4 lineup, Vivo is expected to launch multiple T5-branded phones this year. In the latest development, our source, Paras Guglani, has spotted the forthcoming Vivo T5 Pro 5G in the IMEI database, suggesting it could be heading to the Indian market in the near future.
Vivo T5 Pro 5G IMEI database listing

As can be seen in the screenshot above, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G has been spotted with model number V2568 in the IMEI database. As usual, the listing does not reveal any information about the phone’s specifications.
To recall, the Vivo T4 Pro debuted in August as a powerful mid-range phone equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. It remains to be seen whether the T5 Pro will feature the same chip or a more powerful SoC.
The T4 Pro featured a 6.77-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz screen and came equipped with Android 15, with a promise of up to four major Android OS upgrades. Its highest variant shipped with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It packed a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 7.5W reverse charging support.
Likely, the T5 Pro 5G will be a similarly powerful device and may debut in the third quarter of this year. The T5 lineup may also include other models, such as the T5 Lite, T5, T5R, and T5 Ultra, as successors to last year’s T4 Lite, T4, T4R, and T4 Ultra.
Xpert Take
Vivo has been leading the smartphone market in India for quite some time. One of the reasons it has been able to do so is by offering enticing phones across different price points in both online and offline markets.
The T-series, which offers impressive specifications at affordable prices, has largely been online-first but is also available through select mainline retail, giving it a hybrid reach rather than being strictly online-exclusive. The brand has already launched a couple of new phones, such as the Vivo X300 series, Vivo X200T, and V70 lineup in India, and will be adding a few more flagship-class phones like the X300 FE and X300 Ultra in the first half, suggesting that Vivo is likely to remain number one for a long time.
