Honor is reportedly working on the Honor 600 series of smartphones. So far, recent reports have revealed the existence of the Honor 600 Lite, as it has already appeared on multiple certification platforms. In a new development, the Honor 600 and 600 Pro have also been spotted for the first time, indicating that these devices may go official in the next few months.
Honor 600, Honor 600 Pro GCF certified
The above screenshots show that the Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro have appeared in the database of the Global Certification Forum (GCF). These devices have been spotted with model numbers VKJ-NX9 and VKP-NX9, respectively.
The images also show that the Honor 600 and 600 Pro model numbers are listed on the Google One membership page and the eSIM database. Unfortunately, none of these listings reveal anything significant about their specifications.
Last year, Honor released the Honor 400 and 400 Pro in China as well as global markets. The global variants packed slightly different specifications compared to their Chinese counterparts. Later in 2025, the brand also announced the Honor 500 and 500 Pro in China. Now that the Honor 600 series models have appeared on certification platforms, it appears that the brand may have skipped the Honor 500 lineup for the global market.
A recent leak by tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the standard Honor 600 for the Chinese market will feature a 6.57-inch display and pack a massive 9,000mAh battery. However, its other specifications and the details of the Pro variant remain under wraps.
To recall, the Honor 400 series was announced in May 2025 for global markets. Therefore, it is likely that the Honor 600 lineup could debut around the same time in markets outside of China.
Xpert Take
The Honor 400 and 400 Pro designed for the global market were inferior to the Chinese versions in terms of display and battery sizes and front cameras, but they sported the same design. The same could happen with the Chinese and global versions of the Honor 600 series.
As far as an India launch is concerned, Honor has been inactive since last year in India, and there is no clarity on when it will launch its next phone. So, the outlook appears bleak regarding the India launch of the Honor 600 series.
