Infinix Hot

Infinix is reportedly working on the Hot 70 series of smartphones. The Hot 70, which bears the X6895 model number, recently appeared in an FCC listing, and now, in a new development, it has surfaced in the database of the Google Play Console. This appearance, which reveals the front design and key specs, suggests that it may not take long to go official.

The Infinix Hot 70’s front image, revealed through the Google Play Console listing, shows a flat display with power, volume, and AI buttons on the right edge. It appears to feature a punch-hole cutout for the front camera.

The listing further reveals that the Hot 70’s screen supports an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1576 pixels and a screen density of 280dpi. Under the hood, it features a MediaTek chip with model number MT6789V/CD, which includes two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, and a Mali G57 GPU. In all likelihood, this device appears to be powered by a 4G LTE chip, meaning it will lack support for 5G.

The chip is paired with 4GB of RAM, and the device runs on Android 16. A recently spotted energy label listing revealed that it will house a 5,430mAh battery. The same listing also indicated support for 45W fast charging and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

Xpert Pick

Infinix is known for offering strong value in its entry-level phones, and the same is expected from the Hot 70. At present, there is no clarity on whether the brand will release the Hot 70 in India, as it has not yet cleared BIS certification.

Currently, Infinix is teasing the Infinix Note 60 Pro in the country, which is set to debut on April 13. Two of its major highlights include a dot-matrix display on the back and the inclusion of a Snapdragon chip, which is notable since most Infinix phones are powered by MediaTek processors.
