Motorola is gearing up to launch a couple of new smartphones across different markets. Recent reports suggest that the Razr 70 lineup may go official later this month or in May in China. At the same time, the rumour mill has also started revealing details about the Edge 70 Pro. In a new development, both devices have received fresh certifications, indicating that their launch may not be far away.
Motorola Razr 70 Ultra receives 3C certification

As seen above, a Motorola device with the model number XT2655-4 has been approved by China’s 3C authority. While the listing does not explicitly mention the device’s name, recent reports suggest that it could be the upcoming Razr 70 Ultra.
The 3C certification reveals that the device may ship with a 68W fast charger. To recall, the previous generation also supported 68W charging, which suggests that its successor may not bring any improvement in the charging department.
As for other specifications, the rumour mill is yet to reveal further details. Readers can checkout the CAD renders of the device to see what to expect from its design.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro bags TDRA certification

The screenshot above shows that an upcoming Motorola phone with the model number XT2607-1 will carry the Motorola Edge 70 Pro branding when it launches. As usual, the TDRA listing does not disclose any information about the device’s core specifications.
Leaked images of the Edge 70 Pro suggest that it will be available in maroon, blue, and brown colour options. It is expected to feature a quad-curved display on the front and may also include a dedicated AI button, similar to other Edge-series phones.
Xpert Take
Motorola appears to be preparing a strong dual launch strategy with both foldable and premium mid-range offerings. While the Razr 70 Ultra may focus on design and flagship appeal, the Edge 70 Pro could target performance and AI-driven features.
Importantly, both devices are expected to debut in India, possibly within this quarter. If that timeline holds, Motorola could significantly strengthen its presence in the premium and upper mid-range segments in the Indian market.
