
The Vivo V50 Lite 5G has received approval from the TDRA certification in the UAE. The device has been consistently bagging certifications over the past few weeks, such as Bluetooth SIG, Singapore’s IMDA, Thailand’s NBTC, and FCC in the US. These certifications suggest that the V50 Lite may go official in March in different markets.

The TDRA certification reiterates that the Vivo phone with the V2440 model number will debut with the Vivo V50 Lite 5G moniker. The moniker and the associated model number were previously confirmed through NBTC, GCF, and Bluetooth SIG certifications.

As per the recently seen FCC certification of the Vivo V50 Lite 5G, the device will pack a 6,380mAh (rated value) battery and support 90W fast charging. The device has also appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform in the recent past with specifications such as a Dimensity 6300 chip, 12GB of RAM, and Android 15. The other specs of the V50 Lite 5G are under wraps.
Last year, Vivo launched the V40 Lite in 5G and 4G versions. Speculations are rife that there is a V50 Lite (4G) version as well. The device is expected to arrive with specifications such as 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
