Last year, Vivo launched the X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro in China, but only the Pro variant made its way to the global market. This year, reports suggest that the brand will release just one foldable phone in China. However, there has been some confusion around the name—whether it will be called the Vivo X Fold 4 or X Fold 5—since the number “4” is often considered unlucky in some Asian cultures.
Today, we at XpertPick, in collaboration with reliable source Yogesh Brar, bring you an exclusive look at the detailed specifications of Vivo’s upcoming foldable phone, which will officially be called the Vivo X Fold 5. Continue reading ahead to learn about the full specifications of the X Fold 5’s global version.

- The device will measure just 4.3mm when unfolded and 9.33mm when folded, making it one of the slimmest foldables around.
As of now, there is no official information regarding the launch timeframe, price or colour variants of the Vivo X Fold 5. To recall, the X Fold 3 Pro was launched at Rs 1,59,999. It remains to be seen whether the use of the same chipset will allow Vivo to offer the X Fold 5 at a similar or lower price point.
